Job Description
Join our Central Data & Analytics Team in Zürich as a Master Data Management Lead and drive the design and implementation of strategies for managing master data objects. You will ensure consistency, compliance, and a unified approach to master data across the organization.
Your Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and execution of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data ownership and accountability frameworks.
3. Promote alignment on data quality, sharing, and governance practices across domains.
4. Monitor and update policies to ensure compliance with regulations and business priorities.
5. Define and track KPIs to measure MDM initiatives' success.
6. Drive data cleaning and harmonization efforts to improve quality and consistency.
7. Provide training and support for effective master data management.
Qualifications
Your Expertise – Our Strength
* A degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent experience; relevant MDM certifications are a plus.
* Several years of proven experience in MDM, data governance, or related fields.
* Knowledge of domain-oriented data management approaches, such as Data Mesh, is advantageous.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
