Our mission: We safely power your flight. /ppAs a bProcess Engineer /b you will industrialize and continuously optimize engine piece part machining repair processes in accordance with OEM prerequisites. You will be responsible for all Special Processes, peening and machining processes thereof such grinding, milling, and turning. You will lead industrialization of processes and equipment in close collaboration with Shop Floor Operations. You will collaborate integrally with our Operations, Process Engineering, Tool and Equipment Engineering, Shop Engineering, Machine Maintenance, and external vendors. /ppbYour responsibilities /b /pulliDefine standardized machining repair processes and ensure that these meet applicable quality and compliance standards of the OEM, customers, internal processes and state of the art technologies /liliYour areas of responsibility will cover Peening, Milling, Turning, Grinding processes and support processes thereof /liliConduct continuous improvement of processes under your responsibility using (Safety, Lean, Quality and Engineering tools like Kaizen Events, SPC, FPY, OEE and Problem Solving Methods resulting in improved safety, quality, delivery and costs for our Customers /liliProvide coaching and training to operations colleagues as needed ensuring best in class manufacturing principles /liliProvide support for the industrialization projects according to plan (SQDCP) and define mitigations when necessary, support the industrialization of new repairs and renewal of existing repairs /liliCollaborate closely with Operations, Repair Engineering, Tooling Engineering and/or Shop Engineering to ensure Safety, Quality Cost and Delivery is not impacted for our customers. /li /ulpbYour Profile /b /pulliOperated and supported NC/CNC manufacturing processes including peening, milling, turning, grinding, and related support operations /liliDeveloped and optimized programs for 6-axis robotic systems, including ABB and KUKA platforms /liliCreated NC/CNC machining programs both with and without CAD/CAM software, ensuring precision and production efficiency /liliApplied manufacturing and aerospace MRO knowledge while maintaining strong safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards /liliManaged projects and contributed to continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and quality methodologies /liliWorked effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams, demonstrating a proactive, flexible, and execution-focused approach to complex tasks /liliUtilized a strong mechanical engineering background (BSc/MSc or equivalent) together with fluent English communication skills; German language knowledge considered an advantage. /li /ulpbWe offer /b /ppWe offer an attractive position in a global and dynamic company.
