We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization at itssite close to St Gallen in Switzerland.
This role plays a key part in driving Operational Excellence, leading CI projects, and shaping a culture of Lean thinking across a large and complex production environment. Working closely with site leadership and the wider EMEA CI network, you will influence change, improve processes, and deliver measurable performance gains.
Key responsibilities as Continuous Improvement Manager include:
* Lead the identification, selection, and execution of CI and OPEX initiatives across the site
* Manage project reviews, internal/external reporting, and monthly analysis of waste and CI savings
* Apply DMAIC methodology and support the implementation of group-wide Operational Excellence programs
* Develop performance management tools and KPIs, while supporting department and plant-level performance reviews
* Promote Lean and Six Sigma principles, providing tools, training, and guidance across all functions
* Partner with cross‑functional teams to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and elevate operational performance
The ideal candidate profile:
* Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, with 3+ years’ industrial experience
* Strong background in CI, Lean, Six Sigma, and operational leadership within process‑based industries
* Skilled in analyzing productivity and waste, with experience using statistical and quality tools
* Strong communicator able to influence at all levels and drive cultural change
* Fluent in German and English, with solid IT skills
* Proactive, structured, and confident in leading cross‑functional initiatives across a large workforce
