Job Description
* Serve as the main point of contact for process-related inquiries and technical coordination in energy systems projects
* Develop heat and mass balance calculations, as well as detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for Waste to Energy and Carbon Capture plants
* Perform sizing and specification of main systems; review and validate associated engineering deliverables
* Support the development and enhancement of process design tools, methodologies, and internal engineering standards
* Participate in process safety studies, including HAZOP and SIL assessments, to ensure adherence to safety and operational requirements
* Prepare functional design specifications and assist with factory acceptance testing of control and instrumentation systems
* Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of plant operations, both remotely and on-site
* Engage with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on performance guarantees, technical clarifications, and compliance matters
Qualifications
* Masters’ degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering with experience in process design.
* Solid knowledge in process engineering, use of CAE programs, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and simulation tools (COMOS, Ebsilon, MatLab, Aspen etc.).
* Adaptable team player with good communication skills on different levels (from commissioning teams to Project Managers).
* Self-driven, open minded personality with attention to detail and precise working style.
* Fluency in English; German language knowledge is an advantage.
