Our client is a well-established Bank with a strong presence in the Swiss market. As part of its strategic growth plan in the Structured Finance and Syndication business, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead its Structured Finance and Syndication initiatives in Zurich. This role is part of a broader strategy to enhance capabilities within the Corporate Banking business.
Job Description
1. Build a newly established Structured Finance team in Zurich with up to 10 people
2. Serve as the senior lead for structured finance transactions, particularly in syndication and distribution.
3. Originate, structure, and manage syndicated loan deals for corporate clients based in Switzerland.
4. Develop and sustain a strong network within the local banking sector to support syndication efforts.
5. Collaborate with internal teams including credit, risk,pliance, and legal to ensure seamless deal execution.
6. Prepare and review transaction documentation such as Term Sheets, Information Memoranda, and Facility Agreements.
7. Oversee syndication processes and maintain relationships with partner institutions.
8. Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to the overall corporate banking strategy.
The Successful Applicant
9. 10+ years of experience in the syndication and distribution of structured or syndicated loans.
10. A proven track record in managingplex financing transactions within the Swiss market.
11. Strong understanding of banking operations and cross-functional collaboration.
12. Excellent analytical and documentation capabilities.
13. Fluency in English, German, and French is a strong asset
14. A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently and deliver results.
15. Proven capability in coordinating syndicated loans and fulfilling agent bank responsibilities.
16. Strong interpersonal skills to manage external relationships and negotiate effectively.
