As Production Quality Manager Repair Shop (OneBirr), you will:Take overall responsibility for quality performance within the Repair ShopGuide, support, and develop a small team of quality inspectors and engineersEnsure the implementation, sustainability, and continuous improvement of Built In Quality (BIQ) principlesPromote a “Right First Time” approach by supporting preventive quality methods in daily operationsSupport teams in meeting inspection plans, quality requirements, and customer expectationsAct as the main quality contact for internal and external customersEnsure timely and sustainable handling of non-conformances (NCRs) with minimal impact on operationsGuide structured root cause analyses ( 8D, 5 Why) and support effective corrective and preventive actionsWhat you bringDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field (or technical background with relevant professional and team coordination experience)Experience in quality, manufacturing, Lean, or continuous improvement, ideally in power generation or heavy industryUnderstanding of inspection and testing methods for turbine components or similar equipmentExperience in team coordination within production or quality environmentsKnowledge of structured problem solving methods ( 8D, 5 Why)Understanding of quality management systems ( ISO 9001)Good communication skills in both German and English are a mustNice to haveExperience in strengthening Built In Quality (BIQ) in production environmentsAbility to translate data into practical improvement actionsStructured and solution oriented way of working in a dynamic environmentConfidence in customer and audit situationsLeadership approach that supports development, trust, and team engagementInterest in continuous improvement and operational excellenceQualification as ISO 9001 Lead AuditorBenefits Available to You GE Vernova employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
