PCorintis is seeking a bSenior Graphics Engineer /b to lead the development of our next-generation real-time visualization pipeline for engineering and simulation workflows. /ppThis role is focused on building bhigh-performance CAD rendering systems /b combining bOpenCASCADE (OCCT), Google Filament, Rust, and VTK /b, enabling interactive, physically-based visualization of complex engineering data at scale. /ppYou will work at the intersection of breal-time rendering, CAD geometry processing, and HPC simulation /b, solving challenging problems such as tessellation quality, edge rendering, depth precision, and large-scale dataset visualization. /pppbAbout Corintis /b /p /ppCorintis is a Lausanne-based deep-tech startup developing badvanced semiconductor cooling technologies /b to overcome one of the biggest bottlenecks in modern computing: heat dissipation. /ppAs compute demand grows (AI, HPC, cloud), extracting heat efficiently becomes critical. Corintis enables this through bmicrofluidic cooling embedded directly inside chips /b, achieving significantly higher efficiency than conventional approaches. /ppWe are an EPFL spin-off, backed by leading investors, and ranked among the bTop 100 Swiss Startups /b. /pppbWorking at Corintis /b /p /ppCorintis offers a collaborative and international environment, bringing together engineers across disciplines to solve some of the hardest problems in computing. /ppWe are based at bEPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne /b, minutes away from Lake Geneva, and deeply connected to one of Europe’s leading research ecosystems. /pppbWhat You’ll Work On /b /p /ppYou will design and build core visualization infrastructure including: /plipReal-time rendering of CAD models (STEP, BREP) using bOCCT + Filament /b /p /lilipHigh-quality tessellation pipelines (curvature-aware, adaptive LOD) /p /lilipEdge and feature rendering (silhouettes, sharp edges, hidden-line removal) /p /lilipPhysically-based rendering (PBR materials, lighting, shadows, SSAO) /p /lilipHandling large-scale datasets (millions of triangles / HPC outputs) /p /lilipIntegration with simulation pipelines (VTK-based post-processing) /p /lilipStreaming and progressive loading of geometry /p /lilipDebugging rendering artifacts (z-fighting, precision issues, shading errors) /p /lippbKey Responsibilities /b /p /plipArchitect and implement a bproduction-grade CAD rendering pipeline /b /p /lilipIntegrate bOpenCASCADE geometry processing /b with bFilament rendering /b /p /lilipOptimize mesh generation, GPU upload, and rendering performance /p /lilipImplement robust bedge rendering and topology-aware visualization /b /p /lilipSolve rendering issues such as: /ppdepth precision / z-fighting /ppincorrect normals / shading artifacts /ppmesh cracks and tessellation inconsistencies /p /lilipBuild tooling for debugging and validating geometry pipelines /p /lilipCollaborate with simulation and backend engineers to align visualization with HPC workflows /p /lilipContribute to code quality, performance profiling, and system design /p /lippbQualifications /b /p /pppbRequired /b /p /plipMSc in Software Engineering or related fields, 5+ years experience in bgraphics programming / real-time rendering /b /p /lilipStrong C++ and/or Rust skills /p /lilipDeep experience with: /ppbGoogle Filament (or modern PBR engines) /b /ppbOpenCASCADE (OCCT) /b or similar CAD kernels /p /lilipSolid understanding of: /ppGPU pipelines (OpenGL / Vulkan / Metal) /ppmesh processing and tessellation /ppshading, lighting, and physically-based rendering /p /lilipExperience debugging complex rendering issues /p /lippbStrong Plus /b /p /plipExperience with bVTK / scientific visualization /b /p /lilipExperience with bCAD formats (STEP, BREP) /b /p /lilipKnowledge of: /ppedge detection / silhouette rendering /ppSSAO, shadow mapping, depth buffers /p /lilipFamiliarity with blarge-scale / HPC visualization workflows /b /p /lilipExperience with WebGL / wasm pipelines (vtk.js, three.js) /p /lippbWhat We Offer /b /p /plipStart date: ASAP /p /lilipActivity rate: 100% /p /lilipCompetitive senior-level compensation + equity (PSOP) /p /lilipLocation: On-site at EPFL Innovation Park, Lausanne /p /lilipHigh-impact role in a fast-growing deep-tech startup /p /li
