Job Title: Specialty Internship in Anesthesia and Emergency/Critical Care Medicine
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic veterinarian to join our team at the Small Animal Clinic of the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bern.
Training Objectives and Responsibilities:
* 12-month Specialty Internship in Small Animal Anesthesia and Emergency/Critical Care Medicine.
* Management of emergency patients and intensive care unit patients under the supervision of specialists in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine.
* Management of anesthesia under the supervision of specialists in Anesthesia and Analgesia.
Requirements:
* A completed degree in Veterinary Medicine with a Swiss diploma or a diploma recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG), ideally as a recent graduate.
* Enthusiasm for working in a large, international team.
* A specific interest in Emergency/Critical Care Medicine and Anesthesia and an appreciation for challenging situations.
* Strong communication skills.
* A desire to learn how to work independently and responsibly in the fields of Emergency/Critical Care Medicine and Anesthesia, with a keen interest in learning new things.
* An excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken), with additional proficiency in German and/or French being an advantage.
