Overview
Key Account Manager Diagnostics (d/f/m) - Switzerland for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. This role is part of the Sales Department and will be a field-based position for the German-speaking part of Switzerland (Aarau, Basel, Zurich, Ticino, etc.).

Responsibilities
* Set, lead and execute the agreed sales strategy to achieve market share gain within the territory. Be the primary contact for customers and engage with them to maximize business opportunities – including both new and retention accounts
* Maintain a competitive business base through account management and promotion of products, working with internal and external customers
* Arrange and conduct external and internal meetings, including presenting and supporting both company and customer needs
* Present action plans at regular intervals to the management team and seek opportunities to convert competitor business
* Establish relationships with diverse public and private sectors, focusing on stakeholders including decision makers, KOLs and C-suite level to maximize our value proposition
* Ensure the sales process remains on track and aligned with company requirements, managing an accurate sales funnel
Essential requirements
* BSc or equivalent qualification in a scientific subject or significant experience in a similar role with understanding of the diagnostics market in laboratories and hospital environments
* Experience in direct selling in a comparable field or complex medical environment
* Outstanding planning and organizational skills with evidence of creating and executing successful strategic account plans within diagnostics or the medical sector
* A consistent track record in sales and solution selling, preferably in the medical device, healthcare or life science industry
* Driving license and fluent language skills in English and German, with Italian as an additional asset
Desirable
* Experience in tender management with multiple examples of leading or project-managing complex tender responses, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
