Its main missions include scientific and technical work at crime scenes, analysis of evidence, and collected traces to provide detailed reports to the competent authorities.Responsibilities:You conduct scientific and technical operations directly at the crime scene, applying rigorous methods for analysis and collection of evidence. You carry out research and examine traces to highlight relevant elements for ongoing investigations. You precisely interpret these traces and communicate your conclusions in the form of documented reports to various actors in the law enforcement chain. Your role also involves representing the CFOR at the regional, national, and in your specific fields, thus ensuring recognized expertise and exchanging good practices with other institutions. Additionally, you participate in internal training of CFOR and that provided by the Interregional Police Center (CIFPol), as well as to Neuchâtel’s partners, sharing your knowledge and mentoring new recruits. Furthermore, you perform tasks and take on duties as required.Profile:You hold a bachelor's and master's degree in forensics, and you are proficient in all technical tools related to the role. You demonstrate autonomy and possess excellent writing skills along with public speaking competence. Additionally, you have a good command of a second language, preferably German or English (B1). Being Swiss or holding a C permit, you also have a B driving license, a clean criminal record, and can reach cantonal borders in less than 30 minutes during your shift.
