Job Description: Founded in 1969, ZIMEX AVIATION, based in Switzerland and holder of a EASA Air Operator Certificate, is active in the field of Special Mission Aviation, with aircraft operations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia and since 2016 also with a European express freight operation.
Our own EASA Part 145 maintenance Organization assures that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed to the highest quality standards in the field by our own engineers, who form an integral part of our crew.
For our global Line Maintenance Stations, we are looking for a
Performing scheduled / unscheduled maintenance activity and troubleshooting in full compliance with specifications of pertinent authorities, manufacturer’s recommendations, and general rules applicable to aircraft/components, including adherence to all service bulletins, technical information, newsletters, and airworthiness directives.
Ensuring compliance with directives issued by the Line Maintenance Manager regarding behavior, order, and security of personnel and the station.
Checking availability of necessary working documents and maintenance manuals.
Verifying that all work has been completed, paperwork signed, and technical documents correctly filled out before aircraft/component delivery.
Regularly informing the Line Station Manager and CAMO about the current work situation and any issues, submitting work reports, and releasing aircraft to service after each activity.
Reporting unusual defects and occurrences found during maintenance to IQSMS in accordance with AMC 20-8 Regulation 2042/2003.
Maintaining the station's spare parts storage, inventory, and supporting dispatch activities.
Maintaining tools and materials, tracking calibrated tools.
Ensuring cleanliness and safety at the station.
Performing tasks independently following relevant rules and regulations.
Willingness to serve as an independent Field Service Engineer/Troubleshooter.
Possessing an apprenticeship as a mechanic or similar qualification, with additional training as an airplane mechanic B1, B2, or CAT A.
Holding Aircraft Type Ratings for ATR72 / ATR42 and at least 1 year of experience on these aircraft models.
Having approximately 3 years of experience in Base and/or Line Maintenance.
Possessing a driving license and the ability to obtain airport access authorization.
Demonstrating multifunctional applicability, commercial thinking, and independent working skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel.
Teamwork and integration skills.
Readiness for shift service in Line Maintenance.
Covid-19 vaccination certificate is required for this position.
