As a Finance Manager (m/w/d) in Private Equity, you will play a key role in financial control and optimization, contributing significantly to the scaling of our group in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment by strategically advancing financial processes.
Responsibilities
* Proactively develop our financial structures in close collaboration with the founding team.
* Implement group-wide financial controlling across all portfolio companies, considering local and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and introduce operational KPIs for performance measurement and control, including regular reporting.
* Manage financial controlling for portfolio companies and the group.
* Prepare annual financial statements, financial reports, and investor and financing documents for external lenders such as banks and debt funds.
* Assess financial risks according to the company's framework.
* Support financial due diligence processes.
* Manage relationships with external auditors and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a university or university of applied sciences.
* At least 4-5 years of relevant professional experience; ideally 1-2 years in Big 4 and 3+ years in an operational business, startup, or scale-up environment.
* Experience managing finance across multiple entities is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Swiss accounting standards is beneficial.
* Experience with consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet, SAP BPC).
* Knowledge of financial accounting tools (e.g., Abacus, AbaNinja) is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, especially in KPI development and financial analysis.
* Ability to independently build financial systems and lead group-wide finance projects.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for collaboration with executives and C-levels.
* Fluent in German (mandatory) and proficient in English.
