As a full‑time seasonal staff member, I taught a foreign language to students aged 13–17 from all over the world, led activities and excursions, encouraged cultural exchange, and contributed to a unique immersive experience.
Your Role
Your mission is twofold
* Teach the target language (French or English) to non‑native speakers, Monday to Friday, across 4 to 5 periods per day (typically between 8 : 30 AM and 11 : 45 AM or 12 : 30 PM).
* Lead sports, cultural and creative activities, organize themed evenings, and participate in excursions to create a dynamic and safe environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Teach exclusively in the target language to promote full cultural immersion, following the syllabus and using provided resources.
* Prepare and deliver engaging lessons adapted to different levels, and guide students in completing weekly projects.
* Participate in pedagogical meetings and write a personalized comment for each student at the end of their stay.
* Lead afternoon activities and themed evenings, and accompany excursions.
* Ensure the safety and well‑being of students at all times.
* Take part in the daily life of the camp (wake‑up, bedtime, attendance checks, welcoming new students, organizing departures).
* Enforce camp rules and monitor attendance for classes, activities, and meals.
Qualifications
Your Profile
* Minimum age : 20 years old.
* Previous experience in teaching (classroom lessons, private tutoring, or academic support) and / or leading activities for teenagers.
* Successful experience working with young people aged 13–17.
* Previous experience in holiday camps or similar structures (BAFA, Youth & Sports certifications, DEGJ, etc. are an asset).
* Preferred qualifications : CELTA, TEFL, TESOL or equivalent.
Language skills
* C2 level in English (native or near‑native)
* Good level of French appreciated.
* Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills, with an interest in sports activities.
* Comfortable using projected lessons via a video projector (mandatory).
* Owns a personal computer with HDMI connectivity (mandatory).
* First aid certification, swimming certification, and a valid driving license are additional assets.

Contract Dates
* Spring Camp: April 3 to April 19, 2026
* Summer Camp: June 19 to August 9, 2026
* Autumn Camp: September 25 to October 18, 2026
Shorter contract periods are available.
You do not need to be available for all sessions, although it is preferred.
Additional Information
* Internal training: An online module and an online information meeting (mandatory) will take place in June.
* First aid training: An in‑person session will be organized before the start of the summer camp and offered to all selected candidates (recommended but optional).
* Accommodation: Organized by ALPADIA and partially funded; your contribution to the cost is mandatory in accordance with legal requirements.
* Criminal record: A copy of your 2026 criminal record will be required if hired.
