Responsibilities
* Responsible for software program management across product portfolio
* Responsible for processes, tools and techniques used in software program management
* Authority on software program management priorities and issue resolution
* Authority on software development roadmap
* Consultant to the Director of Software Engineering regarding software development process and team capability
Experience
* 10+ years´ experience in Semiconductor Industry, including 5-10 years of software program management experience
* Familiarity with semiconductor product development cycles and software project management tools and techniques
* Breadth of software development experience across enablement, tools, platform-HW, embedded systems, Linux, RTOS and drivers
* Direct involvement in commercial engagements, in the shape of requirements gathering, status reporting and issue management
Skills
* Capable of defining and managing schedules for multiple software development projects to ensure on-time, controlled execution
* Can lead cross-functional teams through priority setting, effective decision making and driving accountability
* Management of change and risk
* Drives commercial value of software development in terms of cost-benefit analysis and feature monetization
* Effective communication in technical and commercial domains to internal and external audiences
