About the Company : for an innovative and digital reality, which designs, manufactures and supplies a sustainable AI based technological solution for the 3D automated optical inspection of assembled printed circuit boards, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Software Test Engineer .
Core Responsibilities:
The main objective for the Software Test Engineer is to ensure that software releases meet quality standards before deployment by validating functionality under realistic field scenarios.
Main Activities:
Execute manual testing of new software releases
Validate product functionality in real operational scenarios
Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing
Execute testing on real systems and configured environments
Validate software against acceptance criteria defined by Product Owner, PMO, and Development
Translate specifications into detailed test plans and validation checklists
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in requirements and provide feedback
Document, track, and manage defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Work closely with DevOps to integrate testing into the release pipeline
Collaborate with Application Engineering R&D to reproduce and validate field issues
Must Have:
Knowledge of software testing methodologies
Experience in test case design and regression testing
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in structured and process-driven environments
Nice to have:
Experience with test automation
Experience testing software integrated with hardware systems
Problem solving skills and reasoning ability
Willingness to collaborate across engineering disciplines (Electrical, Electronic, Optical, Software)
Working well in teams with other Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Electronical, Optical and Software
