Role Context
The HR Business Partner develops and implements both long‑term and short‑term strategies that align structure, culture, and talent with business goals in Switzerland.
They offer expertise and guidance in areas such as HR and business strategy alignment, organizational design, workforce planning, employee engagement, and culture and change management.
Responsibilities
* Develop a people strategy aligned with global and regional strategies.
* Collaborate with business leadership on talent management, organisational design, strategic workforce planning, and culture development.
* Partner with HR COEs and functional HRBPs to implement appropriate strategies, programmes and processes.
* Develop and execute strategies to attract, develop and retain diverse talent.
* Take ownership of key HR metrics (recruitment, development, retention, etc.) for client groups, conducting root‑cause analysis and driving corrective actions.
* Lead talent assessment, succession planning and talent development, identifying critical roles and building pipelines.
* Drive engagement processes – analysis, communication, feedback and action planning.
* Manage merit & bonus planning, performance management and talent reviews.
* Act as escalation point for complex cases, advising managers on discipline and grievance matters.
* Execute corporate policies and HR programmes with high quality, delivery and cost control.
* Manage local labour and employee relations, ensuring legal compliance.
* Serve on the Swiss leadership team, pension foundation board and works council.
* Provide support for travel across Swiss sites to partner with in‑country teams when required.
Qualifications
* Degree and/or Swiss "eidgenössische Fachausweis (FA) im Personalwesen/HR" with strong knowledge of Swiss labour laws, regulations and HR practices.
* Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution or mediation and knowledge of collective bargaining law.
* Experience shaping change processes in a matrix organisation.
* High social skills, team orientation and a confident demeanour.
* Proficiency in MS Office 365 and Workday.
* Fluency in French and German; fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
* Strong change management expertise and solid understanding of business and financial topics.
