Infrastructure and Utilities Engineer (m/f/d) Location: South of Switzerland (Onsite) Duration: 06/07/2026 to 30/06/2027 (Maternity leave cover) Responsibilities Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of small equipment in line with defined quality and operational standards Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and ensure continuous operation Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement improvements to optimise efficiency and lifecycle management Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for small equipment within CAPEX projects Provide technical input across design, selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification phases Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Validation, and Operations teams to ensure proper integration and compliance Evaluate test results, identify deviations, and troubleshoot equipment-related issues Perform root cause analysis and implement effective CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) Recommend process improvements, system upgrades, and optimisation initiatives Ensure full GMP and regulatory compliance in all engineering and operational activities Author, review, and maintain GMP-relevant documentation (SOPs, work instructions, technical reports) Prepare and review quality records, including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and investigations Support internal and external audits, inspections, and customer visits Ensure audit readiness and address findings effectively Support operational objectives and contribute to overall business performance Identify operational risks and ensure timely communication across departments Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering activities with production and quality goals Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and operational excellence projects Support training activities by sharing expertise and technical knowledge Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering or utilities role Strong experience working within GMP-regulated environments Proven expertise in equipment lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and troubleshooting Experience contributing to CAPEX projects and acting as SME is highly desirable Solid understanding of quality processes, including deviations, CAPAs, and change control Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams Fluency in both German and English (mandatory) Ability to work full-time onsite in the south of Switzerland In Switzerland, for contract roles it is mandatory for the candidate to be a Swiss citizen or a European passport holder.
