Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Manager (GDP)

My client, a global pharmaceutical company currently have an urgent requirement for a talented Quality Assurance Manager to join on a permanent basis to lead and shape our Quality Assurance function across multiple Swiss legal entities. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and purpose-driven organization.
Responsibilities
* Act as Deputy Qualified Person (FvP), overseeing batch release, product recalls, and GDP-compliant distribution
* Lead and manage the local Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with GMP/GDP standards
* Serve as the primary quality liaison for national regulatory authorities and external partners
* Conduct management reviews, self-inspections, and release of reworked products or batches
* Take on responsibilities as the Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance (PRRC) under relevant medical device regulations
* Ensure compliance with national legislation on narcotics and controlled substances
* Oversee deviation handling, complaints, CAPA processes, and product recalls
* Approve and maintain key quality documentation (e.g., SOPs, PQRs, Technical Quality Agreements)
* Support supplier qualification and coordinate internal quality-related training initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
* At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance
* At least 3 years of experience as a Qualified Person (FvP) or Deputy QP
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (TPA, MPLO, GDP, GMP, BetmG)
* Strong decision-making and communication skills, with a high level of independence and accountability
* Fluency in English and German (spoken and written); French is a plus
* Experience in dealing with national and international regulatory bodies is an advantage
