About the Role Associate Director/Senior Marketing Manager, DACH Marketing
As part of Deel’s rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director or Senior Marketing Manager to lead and execute our marketing strategy for the DACH region. We are looking for a self-driven, creative, and strategic marketer who understands what it takes to build and scale market presence in DACH. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing segment-specific strategies and executing local campaigns that drive sustainable brand awareness and generate high-quality pipeline.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end marketing strategy for the region—from planning and execution to performance analysis. You’ll be responsible for crafting and deploying demand generation initiatives that grow our brand presence, attract early adopters and convert them into loyal customers and passionate brand advocates.
What you'll do Strategic Leadership : Develop go-to-market marketing strategy, including messaging and positioning, with a strategic focus on maximising pipeline and conversion.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with local sales, central marketing, and digital marketing teams to create and execute market focused demand and field marketing programs that accelerate pipeline growth.
Campaign Ownership : Own content and integrated campaign strategy and execution, working collaboratively with agencies, influencers and partners across sales, growth, and wider marketing functions.
Initiative Execution : Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive the business forward, ensuring pipeline growth and alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Growth Metrics : Drive growth at the market level by developing and reporting on key KPIs, assessing pipeline health, and activating lead acceleration plans.
Customer Insights : Conduct in-depth customer and market research to gain insights into target audiences and personas, informing strategic decisions on where and how to win.
Land Locally : Identify and account for regional differences for DACH across global GTM, tailoring marketing strategies with a market lens.
Team Contribution : Contribute to broader team initiatives, leveraging insights to inform program and content needs, and communicate strategies and timelines effectively across teams.
Budget Management : Track ROI and budget, influencing the allocation of marketing spend based on past performance insights.
Qualifications Experience : 7-10+ years of experience in regional/growth marketing positions, with the majority focused on the DACH market.
Track Record : Proven success in developing demand generation strategies and uncovering new marketing channels for growth in the DACH region.
Market Knowledge : Know the market intrinsically with experience finding our target audiences through market-specific channels and partners.
Innovative Mindset : A hacker’s mentality with a relentless drive to find innovative ways to achieve goals, even when challenging conventional wisdom.
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills with a history of measuring and enhancing marketing channel performance.
Collaboration : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively working across multiple teams and stakeholders on a global scale.
Communication : Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with executives and senior leaders.
Language Skills : Written and verbal fluency in English and German (native-level) is required; additional European languages are a bonus.
