THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
* The Controller L&R will support the licensing & retail team who manage 100 plus official licensed products licensees across various FIFA Assets, and a number of retail concessionaire licensees in different countries and regions. This role will require working closely with FIFA finance, FIFA controlling & strategic planning, the FIFA licensees, the business intelligence & strategy team.
* The mains tasks will be contractual controlling and reporting management, quarterly or monthly sales and royalty reporting, and supporting the consolidation processes.
* Forecasting and consolidation of forecasting and actuals.
* Prepare sales data analyses & reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist in future process and system set-up to ensure efficient workstreams.
* In addition, this role will be crucial in providing data and information that will inform the licensing and retail business going forward, including event licensing, retail and ecommerce. This will include providing tournament reports, annual reports, product performance reports etc.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, retail controlling or business controlling or financial analyst position
* Demonstrable understanding of consumer products and retail business
* Demonstrable business analyses reporting experience
* Degree /higher qualification in finance or accounting or business/economics
* Fluent in English
* Proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES / GER) is an asset
* Proficient in Word / PowerPoint
* Advanced skills in Excel
* Highly numerical and analytical
* Ability to work with multiple databases and provide data insights
* Whilst a solid understanding of the business of licensing and retail
* Solid knowledge of the retail landscape and sports licensed business
* Excellent team player
* Competent working to deadlines and stress resilient
* Well organised
* Highly skilled at ‘connecting the dots’
* Willing to work flexible hours during reporting deadline periods
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
