Technical Presales Consultant Red Hat (m/f/d)

Location
Switzerland – focus on the Suisse Romandie region.
Your Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Red Hat and key customers.
* Identify new business opportunities and develop go‑to‑market strategies for Red Hat solutions.
* Drive revenue growth and strengthen market positioning for Red Hat offerings.
* Advise partners and customers on Red Hat technologies including Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, and the Ansible Automation Platform.
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts.
* Support tender processes and proposal development.
* Support the design of Red Hat solutions to meet customer requirements.
* Use internal and vendor tools to generate accurate bill of materials on a timely basis for resellers and their customers.
* Conduct training sessions and workshops for partners and internal teams.
* Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights for Red Hat business development.
* Respond quickly to queries or customer care issues.
* Deal with product/solution enquiries from partners/customers.
* Maintain peer‑level technical contacts in assigned vendor.
* Understand vendor promotions and develop product knowledge to a competent technical level in line with vendor/business expectations.
Your Profile
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to run professional business engagements.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with polished presentation delivery.
* Fluent in French and English; German is a clear plus.
* Strategic thinker with strong priority management and planning skills.
* Solid understanding of IT distribution; experience with open‑source and hybrid cloud technologies is a plus.
* Familiarity with Red Hat solutions (OpenShift, Ansible Automation, virtualization, orchestration).
* IT industry knowledge (Channel, Vendors, Competition, End Users) desirable.
* Completed vocational training in retail/business administration and several years of experience in sales or technical roles; marketing or business economics background is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP experience is advantageous.
* Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast‑paced environment.
* Passion for customer interaction and vendor relations.
