Your opportunity
You will work collaboratively within the Finance Shared Services department to support the accounts payable and receivable functions. You will be in charge of supporting the daily and monthly accounting workflow and analysis, managing the accounting of our luxury brands.
How you will contribute
1. Supervising the department day-to-day activities and reports
2. Accurately and timely auditing store sales, reconciliating stores daily closures (DOS, shops-in-shops, e-commerce)
3. Issuing third party B2B invoices, like for instance monthly invoicing of Shop-in-Shops sales
4. Managing third party and intercompanies invoices, including the payment process
5. Support daily accounting duty and perform ad hoc assignment from time to time as assigned by supervisor
6. Monitoring intercompany interface and intercompany monthly reconciliations; managing bank reconciliations
7. Managing month-end journal entries
8. Maintaining the accounts payable documentation archive
9. Being the key person for payable flow and other relevant information for auditors
10. Effectively communicating with store network
11. Ensuring stores comply with and respect Group internal policies and procedures
Who you are
12. High school graduate (a university degree in economics will be considered a plus)
13. Accountant with a former experience at least in a similar role; any experience in supporting retail / luxury retail business within a finance function would be a plus
14. Effective and positive team player with excellent communication skills and agile, collaborative and inclusive approach
15. Proactive detail-oriented person, able to regularly meet challenging deadlines and handle a high volume of tasks
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel especially (working knowledge of AS400 and SAP will be a plus)
17. Fluent both in English and Italian
