This Position reports to:
Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to monitor the progress of the shift team based on the work plans defined by the production management. You will ensure that machines, equipment, and assembly lines in the production area are used correctly.
Each day, you provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management on topics related to the production line – including line organization, changing priorities, and potentially critical situations. You also contribute your expertise by working closely with the department management to create an effective working environment and to optimize production plans and quality standards.
The work model for this position is: on-site.
This role contributes to Electrification, Smart Buildings, Energy Distribution in Schaffhausen.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Supporting management with personnel allocation, e.g., during vacation periods, illness, machine downtime, or shifting priorities.
* Increasing the focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
* Assisting management and the shift team with the assignment, coordination, and monitoring of shift tasks and the implementation of work plans during the shift.
* Taking on a leadership role during the shift to ensure collaboration and to resolve technical/quality issues and logistical challenges.
Qualifications For The Role
* Several years of professional experience in a production or logistics environment.
* Completed vocational training as a Logistics Specialist EFZ and experience as a shift leader in a two‑shift operation.
* Strong proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Word.
* Professional communication skills in German (C2 level).
* A respectful attitude, strong communication skills, transparency, and a commitment to living the ABB values.
