Ph3Hiring: Senior Manager, Procurement—Biologics Category /h3 pThis hybrid position may be located in Titusville, New Jersey; Cork, Ireland; or Zug, Switzerland as announced. /p pProcurement is a key enabler in driving and supporting Johnson Johnson’s growth. As part of the Procurement organization, the Senior Manager is responsible for driving and/or supporting all aspects of spend performance such as reliability, innovation, costs, supply network readiness, and corporate citizenship goals, while collaborating with the wider procurement and supply chain community. /p pThe Biologics Category Senior Manager is responsible for the global procurement of Biologics direct materials which are used in Large Molecule Drug Substance (DS) Manufacturing across our network. The Senior Manager will lead the process and governance required to ensure Biologics material resiliency of our RD pipeline. They will also develop and manage strong relationships with key suppliers, the sites, and the technical teams to improve supplier reliability and value creation. Apply today for this exciting opportunity to lead and execute the procurement strategy for resin materials used in biologics production! /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul lipbSupplier Relationship Management (SRM): /b Lead the SRM process with critical suppliers at senior executive level that supply the goods, including performance management, reliability improvement, and value creation. /p /li lipbSourcing: /b Ensure execution of category strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders for reducing total costs of externally purchased materials, goods and services and improving levels of quality, service, and value to the Business. /p /li lipbContracting: /b Systematically and efficiently manage complex contracts approval, administration, and compliance to maximize financial and operational performance and minimize risk. /p /li lipbCategory Strategy: /b Develop and drive the vision, strategy, and implementation plan in close collaboration with internal partners across the portfolio to deliver maximum value for JJ. /p /li lipbBusiness Engagement: /b Manage the needs and expectations of the Business to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standards and alignment with procurement strategies; lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive reliability improvement. /p /li lipbProcurement Strategy Enablement: /b Develop and maintain the strategic direction for the Procurement function, ensure alignment to strategic goals and standards and effectively manage the enabling tools and technology required across the function. /p /li lipbRD Engagement: /b Lead the process to identify the needs of our NPI pipeline to ensure resiliency of the material choices deploy governance to ensure execution. /p /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liMinimum of a Bachelor's / University or equivalent degree is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred and/or focused degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field. /li liCertifications in CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or equivalent are helpful. /li /ul h3Required Experience and Skills /h3 ul liMinimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. /li liProcurement and/or Supply Chain experience (e.g., Strategic Procurement, Sourcing, Category, and/or Supplier Management). /li liExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to deliver succinct messages and influence (with and without direct authority) and engage partners/stakeholders/suppliers at all levels, and across categories, functions, and e2e supply chain, to drive outcomes. /li liStrong business and financial acumen to drive business case creation and deliver value. /li liDemonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization is able to effectively and efficiently move through transitions. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience and Skills /h3 ul liProficiency with one or more of the following core Procurement skills: Supplier Performance, Supply Market Analysis, Cost Modeling, Category Management, Procurement Strategy, and/or Procurement Excellence. /li liDemonstrated ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions Procurement to meet evolving business needs. /li liKnowledge of complex Biologics (e.g., resins or media) and Large Molecule Drug Substance Manufacturing Industry. /li liExperience in highly complex and global environment. /li liExperience in End-to-End supply chain initiatives of manufacturing network, digital tools/ technology adoption, and/ or resiliency. /li liExperience leading/managing/developing people (direct or indirect reports). /li liStrong level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community. /li /ul h3Other /h3 ul liMay require up to 15% domestic and/or international travel. /li liRequires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week. /li /ul h3Additional Skills /h3 ul liAdvanced Analytics /li liBusiness Data Analysis /li liBusiness Savvy /li liCategory Management Strategy /li liCompetitive Landscape Analysis /li liContract Management /li liCost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) /li liCritical Thinking /li liLeadership /li liMarket Savvy /li liMentorship /li liNegotiation /li liOrganizing /li liPerformance Measurement /li liProcess Improvements /li liRelationship Building /li liRisk Management /li liSpend Analysis /li liStrategic Thinking /liliSupplier Collaboration /li liSustainable Procurement /li liTechnical Credibility /li liVendor Selection /li /ul pJohnson Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
