What is the Opportunity?
At Ultra-Pure Water+ we offer you the opportunity to expand your skills and professional experience while collaborating with worldwide experts in water treatment. As Sustainability Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects execution within sustainability department with major focus on the systems design, development and implementation of creative ideas and concepts for industrial water and wastewater treatment, collection and analysis of actual semiconductor plants data and water qualities, serving Ovivo customers.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland and will require some international travelling.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
1. Responsible for managing execution of sustainability projects from the idea to successful implementation
2. Analysis of water and wastewater qualities
3. Design of water / wastewater / reclaim systems – development of process flow, mass balances, design documents
4. Estimating projects expenses (CapEx, OpEx)
5. Piloting and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment processes
6. Leading implementation of creative ideas, concepts and strategies of water consumption reduction, reuse and recycling for the semiconductor industry
7. Development of new digital tools essential for defining complete water management strategies for high complexity systems
8. Serving customers throughout sustainability projects lifetime
9. Literature, web research, data analysis
10. Writing technical documentation and reports
11. Creating and contributing to future know-how of the company
Qualifications:
12. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, preferably in Chemical / Process / Industrial Engineering
13. You have at least one first professional experience (3-5 years), preferably in water or wastewater treatment
14. A good understanding of economics and sustainability context
15. You show self-initiative and creativity, you are flexible and able to work under pressure
16. You are mobile and you like to travel worldwide over several weeks
17. You have a good team-oriented working attitude with excellent communication skills to work in close co-operation with our other internal international departments, suppliers and customers
18. You are fluent in English (spoken and written). German, French or other languages are an added value
