\Helpers and Insights for a Changing World
We're looking for someone to support our team in assessing catastrophe and accumulation exposure globally using vendor and internally developed cat models. You'll help develop underwriting systems supporting risk assessment, pricing, and portfolio management while putting our customers first.
This role involves:\li>New Hazard Insights: Develop new hazard insights and integrate them into our platform for impact analysis and change management.\li>Global Cat Underwriting Systems: Support the development of global and local cat underwriting systems for risk assessment, pricing, and portfolio management optimization.\li>Change Management: Support change management by developing automated import/export pipelines, preparing in-depth data, and explaining observed changes.
\p>Your Skills and Qualifications\li>Programming Skills: Knowledge in programming languages (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB) and database skills (e.g., SQL).\li>Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\li>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.\li>Education: At the time of the internship, you need to be enrolled in a university or institute of higher education, ideally in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Geography).
