Role Description:
The
Business Analyst (Financial Sector)
plays a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the development of solutions that enhance performance, efficiency, and compliance within financial operations. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Business Analyst contributes to strategic and operational initiatives such as digital transformation, process optimization, regulatory compliance, and product development.
Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping workflows, and translating needs into clear functional specifications. The Business Analyst will evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven improvements aligned with business objectives. They will also assist in preparing business cases, performing financial and impact analyses, and supporting the design and testing of system enhancements. Collaboration is central to the role — the Analyst will work closely with departments such as finance, risk, compliance, and IT to ensure seamless implementation and stakeholder alignment.
The ideal candidate is analytical, methodical, and proactive, with a strong understanding of financial products, market mechanisms, and operational processes. They are capable of interpreting complex data, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and driving projects forward in a structured and results-oriented manner.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Consultant in the financial sector.
* Strong knowledge of financial instruments, capital markets, and regulatory environments.
* Experience in process analysis, data modeling, and business requirements documentation.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Familiarity with SQL, ERP, or financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
