Responsibilities
* Maintain and monitor our analytics platform across hardware, network, operating systems and shared services
* Automate installation processes and streamline application delivery pipelines using scripting and infrastructure-as-code with tools such as Terraform or Ansible
* Design, implement and operate shared services including PKI, storage and authentication
* Implement monitoring tools, logging frameworks and alerting mechanisms, and respond to incidents to ensure uptime and reliability
* Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to integrate systems and ensure scalability and security
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience
* Solid background with Linux environments, networking and system administration
* Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes combined with scripting skills in Python, Bash or Go
* Understanding of infrastructure automation and CI / CD concepts, ideally with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
* Practical know-how in monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack or Loki
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills combined with a proactive, collaborative mindset
* Excellent English language skills are required; proficiency in German is a plus

About the field of activity
The C5I Business Area of RUAG supports the Swiss Army in the implementation of ICT projects, with a specific focus on the Cyber Command.
