Overview
The Bodyguard is an important member of our dynamic Regional Security Office and plays a crucial role in effectively mitigating security and safety risks faced by the U.S. Ambassador and other very important people (VIPs). As part of their core responsibilities, the Bodyguard acts as a close protection agent, providing immediate physical security for the Ambassador and mitigating potential threats or attacks.
Responsibilities
* Act as a close protection agent, providing immediate physical security for the Ambassador and mitigating potential threats or attacks.
* Regularly serves as the primary or secondary driver for the Ambassador or Chargé, ensuring safe and secure transportation in a fully armored vehicle while adhering to all local driving laws and regulations.
* Maintain and possess a valid driver’s license, preferably Swiss driving license C1.
Location and Reporting
The position is located in the Embassy's Regional Security Office Section (RSO), reports to the Bodyguard Supervisor and the Regional or Assistant Regional Security Officer.
