About the Role
As an Associate Product Controller, you’ll be at the intersection of finance and investments, providing critical performance analysis and reporting support across fixed income portfolios. You’ll leverage your analytical skills and financial expertise to ensure accuracy, transparency, and actionable insights in our reporting and control processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and deliver accurate daily and monthly P&L performance reports to senior leadership, including detailed attribution and performance commentary across fixed income asset classes.
* Support reporting and control processes for a broad range of fixed income products, including corporate bonds and interest rate products.
* Serve as a key point of contact for performance‑related inquiries from Front Office, Investment Reporting, Risk Management, and other internal stakeholders.
* Partner with business teams to ensure reported P&L is complete, accurate, and aligned with investment activity; proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies related to accruals, market movements, and trade activity.
* Collaborate with IT and Analytics teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and develop scalable tools that support deeper performance analysis and operational efficiency.
* Maintain and strengthen procedural controls around reporting processes, ensuring consistency, transparency, and compliance with internal standards and governance frameworks.
* Assist in the review and analysis of market risk sensitivities impacting reported results.
* Lead and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and ad‑hoc requests that drive process improvement, reporting enhancements, automation, and strategic insights.
About the Team
Asset Management Finance is a specialized finance team focused on Swiss Re’s global investment portfolio with responsibility for performance reporting, financial planning & analysis, and product control. The team supports the Swiss Re Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO) as well as the various Business Units and relevant Group functions with investment‑related financial performance reporting and related deliverables.
Our function, with a focus on developing and maintaining a superior control environment, interfaces with a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization in support of these efforts. With members located in Zurich, New York, London, and Bratislava, we are a global team providing support for a broad‑based portfolio invested to add value to Swiss Re’s core re/insurance business units.
About You

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in asset management, banking, or financial services.
* Strong understanding of fixed income markets, with hands‑on experience across corporate bonds and interest rate products.
* Familiarity with market risk concepts such as duration, spread sensitivity, curve movements, and hedging strategies.
* Strong grasp of end‑to‑end reporting and control processes, with a focus on accuracy, transparency, and governance.
* Excellent analytical skills—both quantitative and qualitative—with high attention to detail and data integrity.

Salary Information
For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 77,000 CHF and 115,000 CHF for a full‑time role.

* The applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance‑based annual bonus.
Hybrid Work Model
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
