Cyber Security Engineer (PSOC) – Bussnang
Responsibilities
* Define detailed PSOC (Product Security Operation Center) requirements based on customer and business needs
* Processing and classifying cybersecurity events and developing solutions together with the customer
* Engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to assess and evaluate cybersecurity events
* Contribute to the creation of proposal documents involving the PSOC
* Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures
* Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources to identify potential threats and conduct regular audits and security assessments
* Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices
* Support the Senior Project Leader Cybersecurity in building and maintaining the PSOC, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cybersecurity experts
* Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to continuously improve PSOC operations
Qualifications
* Completed training in the field of computer science or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in the railway business
* Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as IEC62443, NIS2, IEC63452 and EN50701, is essential. Familiarity with legal frameworks like CRA is also required
* Understanding of the differences between events, incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, exploits, hacks, and attacks
* Experience with SIEM systems and familiarity with playbooks
* Proven team player with the ability to work closely with colleagues and beyond
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
* You have a strong customer focus and are solution-orientated
* Very good knowledge of German and English
