Location
The position will be based in H55’s headquarters in Sion, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
Report to the Head of Aircraft Integration & Testing and focus on developing test activities and strategies to enable successful product demonstration (V&V) of the system.
Liaise with product and system development teams to capture test needs.
Define appropriate test set‑ups to provide test data in support of prototype development, qualification, verification and demonstration of Safety of Flight Test.
Create documentation, including technical descriptions, test procedures and reports, and participate in test bench design.
Execute complex tests involving electrical, mechanical, software, control and instrumentation elements while maintaining safety as a priority.
Coordinate test activities with both H55 in‑house test teams and external suppliers.
Manage external suppliers.
Perform configuration management of test assets to ensure traceability of test activities.
Assist test and development teams with troubleshooting, debugging and lessons‑learnt activities.
Track and log activities as required.
Provide timely formal and informal status updates as required by project management.
Your Profile
University degree (min. bachelor) in a relevant engineering discipline (System engineering, Aerospace engineering, Power electronics, Energy systems).
Enjoy a role with a variety of aspects, including planning and coordinating, electrical/mechanical design, technical documentation, test bench assembly and commissioning or testing.
Ideally, experience in aerospace industry or other highly regulated domain (Automotive, etc.).
Experience in electronics and electrical system testing.
Good awareness of the safety challenges associated with high‑voltage testing.
Knowledge of and experience setting up LabVIEW based systems is a temiz asset.
Fluency in English (oral and written); knowledge of French is an asset.
