Overview
In this role, you will support the CFO on the operational level to ensure sound financial management and controlling. You will take responsibility for planning and overseeing financial operations, developing efficient processes, and guiding a motivated finance team. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on work and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s financial performance and future development.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee financial operations of the Swiss legal entities and international subsidiaries
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
* Support group consolidation
* Oversee tax compliance and manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities
* Contribute to financing, treasury, and investment activities
External Reporting
* Lead preparation and presentation of financial reports to shareholders, Board of Directors, and lending banks
* Ensure high-quality, transparent, and timely reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
* Coordinate and lead the annual audit process
Financial Systems, AI & Process Transformation
* Drive the development and optimisation of financial processes, controls, and analytics
* Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of finance systems (ERP, reporting tools, etc.)
* Champion the adoption of AI-driven finance tools (e.g., forecasting, automation, anomaly detection, reporting)
* Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data quality and accessibility
* Oversee the accounting function and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., OR and Swiss GAAP FER, HGB)
* Act as a subject matter expert for complex accounting topics
* Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
Profile & Qualifications
* Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in finance, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or head of finance role
* Experience in Datacenter and / or real estate / infrastructure preferred
* Experience with Abacus, Datev and PowerBi is a strong advantage
* Familiarity with international operations and group structures is a further plus
* Strong technical knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and OR
* Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
* Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
