The Senior Manager will lead global procurement of Biologics direct materials used in Large Molecule Drug Substance Manufacturing, manage supplier relationships, and ensure material resiliency of the RD pipeline. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupplier Relationship Management (SRM): Lead the SRM process with critical suppliers at senior executive level that supply the goods, including performance management, reliability improvement, and value creation. /li liSourcing: Execute category strategies with stakeholders to reduce total costs and improve quality, service, and value. /li liContracting: Manage complex contracts approval, administration, and compliance to maximize performance and minimize risk. /li liCategory Strategy: Develop and drive vision and strategy to deliver maximum value for JJ. /li liBusiness Engagement: Manage needs and expectations of the Business to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standards; lead or participate in cross-functional teams. /li liProcurement Strategy Enablement: Develop strategic direction for Procurement and manage enabling tools and technology. /li liRD Engagement: Identify needs of the NPI pipeline to ensure resiliency of material choices and governance for execution. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred and/or focused degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field /li liCertifications in CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or equivalent are helpful /li /ul h3Experience and Skills /h3 ul liMinimum of 8 years of relevant work experience /li liProcurement and/or Supply Chain experience (Strategic Procurement, Sourcing, Category, Supplier Management) /li liExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills /li liStrong business and financial acumen /li liFlexibility to respond to changes in external environment and manage transitions /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liProficiency with core Procurement skills: Supplier Performance, Supply Market Analysis, Cost Modeling, Category Management, Procurement Strategy, and Procurement Excellence /li liCreative problem-solving for evolving business needs /li liKnowledge of complex Biologics and Large Molecule Drug Substance Manufacturing /li liExperience in global environment and end-to-end supply chain initiatives /li liExperience leading/developing people /li liCredibility with internal customers and supplier community /li /ul h3Other /h3 ul liUp to 15% travel (domestic and/or international) /li liOn-site minimum three days per week with up to two remote workdays /li /ul pJohnson Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
