Our micro-optical components meet the highest requirements for applications in photolithography, optical networks, medicine, and metrology. To allow us to integrate last generation technology faster we are looking for a Sales Account Manager Job responsibilities * Regularly meet or exceed your sales quota, while aggressively expanding the total sales opportunity funnel across Germany, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. * Employ best in class -consultative selling- sales strategies, to establish and grow revenues at new and existing global customers. * Cultivate personal relationships at all levels within our target accounts, visiting them regularly in order to ensure strong customer alignment, satisfaction and retention. * Provide sales leadership for the full customer product life-cycle, maximizing Focuslight market share at all target accounts in the region. * Through critical market analysis, identify new business opportunities and market adjacencies for Focuslight capabilities. * Provide regular updates to internal Focuslight teams via CRM, customer contact reports, forecasts and ad-hoc reporting request. * Participate in trade fair appearances, conferences and other marketing activities. Job requirements * 10 years of sales or business development experience in photonics markets, with successful track record of closing multi $M deals. * Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated success in managing complex technology design cycles. * BSc or higher degree in a science or engineering discipline. * Ambitious, results-oriented and independent mindset. * Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in English and in German required. * Disciplined and accurate forecasting and CRM ability. * Willingness to travel 50% of the time within EMEA, with occasional trips to Asia.
