Reporting Line
This position reports to the Head of HRXP, Process, Data & Technology.
Role and Responsibilities
The ABB HR Experience Process, Data and Technology organization aims to enhance the HR experience by developing strategies, improving systems, and collaborating with HR to optimize processes, data, and technology. We seek a technically proficient individual with analytical skills, customer focus, and a dedication to user experience to ensure governance across HR portfolios.
This role involves managing performance for our portfolios and services, establishing governance forums, reporting on performance, and handling M&A requirements from the HR M&A Team. You will lead a team responsible for PMO standards, risk and compliance activities, HR access controls, and Document Management Support. You will oversee governance and processes for Service Management and Test & Release Management, supporting the HR Experience Organization.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Governance
* Define objectives aligned with HR goals and prioritize projects.
* Establish a Portfolio Governance Board and role definitions.
* Implement standardized frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project selection criteria.
* Identify and mitigate risks, monitor KPIs, and report progress.
* Manage change and financial oversight.
Service Management & Governance
* Assess and mitigate service delivery risks.
* Track performance metrics and gather stakeholder feedback.
* Promote continuous improvement and collaboration.
Additional Responsibilities
* Report on risk and compliance, ensuring awareness.
* Manage HR systems access and security.
* Lead teams supporting Document Management and M&A delivery.
Locations are flexible; candidates should be prepared to collaborate across European and US EST time zones. The work model is hybrid.
Qualifications
* Experience in setting guidelines, delegating, and monitoring performance.
* Leadership and team supervision skills.
* Ability to mentor, influence, and manage key stakeholders.
* Vendor management experience.
