About the Role
We are seeking a skilled National Account Executive to join our team. As a key player in our growth journey, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients across Europe.
Your primary goal will be to act as the customer's guide, introducing them to our broad suite of services including small package delivery, freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution, cold chain ground transport, and more.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a hunter sales mentality, excellent negotiation, presentation, and networking abilities.
You should also be willing to travel within Europe and adapt to different time zones.
As a National Account Executive, you will be at the cutting edge of complex selling, identifying new opportunities and implementing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Your in-depth understanding of our services and technologies will enable you to translate them into significant value for your customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for clients, introducing them to UPS's services
* Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and implementing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
* Gain an in-depth understanding of our services and technologies
* Stay informed and strategic, keeping up with customer strategies, financials, product launches, and pipelines
* Collaborate with Operations and Customer Solutions to refine and adapt solutions
* Monitor and excel, tracking revenue commitments and managing key accounts
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· At least two years of complex selling experience, ideally in the pharma, Medtech, or labs industry
· Strong verbal and written proficiency in English and German
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and networking abilities
· Ability to translate solutions and services into capabilities that meet customer needs
