General DescriptionThe Poolside Teaching Assistant reports to the Primary School Principal and the PE Team Lead. In this role, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the Primary School swimming programme by working actively at poolside alongside the swimming teachers. The Poolside Teaching Assistant supports planned swimming activities, assists with assessment and lesson preparation and helps ensure a safe, well-organised and engaging learning environment for all students. This role requires confidence working with children, the ability to use initiative and a proactive approach to supporting student learning and wellbeing. Experience working with children is essential; a background in Physical Education or sport and German language skills are assets.
