Junior Full-stack Software Engineer (BE-CSS-GTA-2025-220-GRAE)

You will research and evaluate potential solutions aiming to provide a concrete tool that will be part of the AFT application. You will be able to gain extensive knowledge in a variety of technologies used in the industry, the complete development cycle of enterprise tools, aiming to provide a concrete solution which will be used throughout the Accelerator & Technology Sector.
Your responsibilities
* Participate in the gathering of User Requirements.
* Contribute to the Analysis & Design of the tool with an emphasis on the UX aspects.
* Take part in the implementation of the full-stack including writing tests.
* Participate in the operational deployment and in user support.
Your profile
* Practical knowledge of Java.
* Practical knowledge of one of the major Web frameworks (Angular, VueJS, React).
* Practical knowledge of SpringBoot and Gradle.
Skills:
* Typescript and Angular.
* Java.
* Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
* Basic knowledge of Git and DevOps practices.
* Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the basics of the other language.
* By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Web development (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
* You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
* Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
* Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
