On behalf of our Client, we are looking for:
Mechanical Development Engineer (DE+ENG)
Location: Wil - hybrid
Workload: 80-100%

What you'll do:
* Drive design, implementation, and validation of product innovations and improvements
* Develop mechanical and thermodynamic calculations and simulations
* Create and evaluate development concepts based on technical requirements
* Use creative engineering techniques from ideation to detailed design
* Collaborate closely with process, automation, and control engineering teams
* Lead sub-projects within multidisciplinary, international development projects
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation in line with applicable standards and regulations
What you bring:
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (Master's preferred)
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar development engineering role
* Proficiency with MS Office, Inventor, and common design/simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, MDesign, SimScale)
* Strong German and English communication skills
* Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong execution skills
Desirable Additional Skills
* Knowledge of thermodynamics, particularly in roasting or similar applications
* Experience with hygienic design, food safety standards, and various manufacturing technologies
