The Account Manager PB (AM PB) collaborates closely with the Relationship Manager (RM) and Team Head, focusing on the Middle East Market. The AM PB demonstrates excellent professional, personal, and social skills when liaising with clients and the RM. They ensure operational client account management, interact with internal and external stakeholders independently, provide clients with relevant information, and support the RM in implementing customized solutions. The AM PB acts as a role model in delivering the best service quality to clients, RMs, and Team Heads (THs), embodying Julius Baer's values of Care, Passion, and Excellence. They channel client feedback to relevant departments to foster continuous improvement and process adaptation. The AM PB is committed to excellent account administration and is willing to go the extra mile.
YOUR CHALLENGE
1. Support Relationship Managers in client relationship management, including drafting investment proposals and participating in marketing activities (presentations, client receptions, meetings, business trips, events).
2. Lead parts of client meetings when appropriate, such as documentation formalities, compliance, or client requests.
3. Ensure professional operational account management, resolving system alerts and tasks directly or via the RM.
4. Maintain high-standard, accurate client relationship documentation, including client identification and account opening forms.
5. Process client orders, such as payments, credits, foreign exchange, securities transactions, and manage account openings, closings, and maintenance.
6. Prepare and update KYC documentation, including annual reviews and account openings, in coordination with RMs.
7. Pay particular attention to AML monitoring and regulatory notifications.
8. Interact with clients professionally and independently in all aspects of account management.
YOUR PROFILE
* Eligibility to work in the country (Swiss or B or C permit).
* Minimum 3 years of similar experience in a Swiss bank or with an independent manager in Switzerland.
* Either at least 5 years of experience as an ARM or 3 years plus a relevant higher degree (e.g., Bachelor, CFA, AZEK, CAIA), excluding apprenticeship.
* Fluent in English; French is a plus.
* Proven track record servicing banking clients with complex needs.
* Profound understanding of private banking products, services, and tools, with good knowledge of financial markets.
* Excellent adaptability working with diverse backgrounds.
* Trustworthy, discreet, with high risk awareness.
* Systematic, precise, diligent, and able to work under pressure with integrity and ethics.
* Innovative, questioning the status quo with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Service-oriented with exceptional communication skills, professional and competent in client interactions.
