Drive Business Growth as an Area Sales Manager
We are seeking a results-driven professional to oversee the sales performance of our Energy Storage System (ESS) product line. As an Area Sales Manager, you will participate in sales strategy discussions, assign goals, and negotiate sales budgets and marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage global product pricing for ESS, ensuring topline growth and profitability
* Assist and support the sales team and customers throughout the sales process, while developing business by increasing knowledge of products and markets
* Identify customer needs and competitors' offerings through market studies, ensuring effective marketing and communications that reflect the value proposition of products and services
* Conduct product presentations and training sessions
* Perform sales performance reviews, propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and produce sales reports to assist in production planning and analyze lost proposals
This role requires in-depth knowledge and market insights for all aspects of ESS, with a focus on key market segments such as Railway, e-Mobility, and Marine, as well as technical ESS knowledge. You will also need a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a global team, with a passion for closing deals.
Requirements:

* Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are beneficial
* Proven ability to deliver effective market insights and pricing solutions globally
* Experience in business development, account management, and cross-selling
* Excellent communication skills, adept negotiation capabilities, a focus on customer needs, and a professional approach
