As Executive Chef, you hold overall responsibility for the culinary direction of Badrutt's Palace Hotel across all internal and external restaurants, banquets and in-room dining. You further develop and implement seasonal menus and culinary concepts, ensuring alignment with the hotel's positioning, guest expectations and current gastronomic trends. A strong sense of creativity and a genuine passion for refined cuisine define your approach, supported by a solid understanding of international and regional gastronomic trends, as well as extensive experience in classic French and Italian cuisine and the execution of large-scale banquet events. You drive food and culinary promotions, as well as the development of pop-up food concepts. In collaboration with the hotel's renowned celebrity chef partners, including Nobu Matsuhisa and Jason Atherton, you coordinate joint culinary activities and special initiatives. You are responsible for budget planning, cost control and revenue management within the culinary department. Purchasing, food administration and the management of supplier relationships fall within your area of responsibility. Compliance with all hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP guidelines, together with the continuous development of internal processes, remains a core responsibility of the role. You work closely with colleagues in Service, Events and Purchasing, with a clear focus on quality and operational coherence.
