WinGD is looking for a Development Expert Combustion
Responsibilities
* Develop new thermodynamic and combustion concepts for WinGD 2-stroke engines by applying fundamental understanding of engine mixture formation, ignition and combustion
* Use simulation tools to support technology application and engine tests
* Design and integrate combustion system components into engines
* Define engine thermodynamic layout and engine tuning parameters by performing hands-on testing on engines in laboratories and at licensee site world-wide
* Define and maintain engine performance data based on simulations and testing results
* Support customers and licensees with inquiries
Requirements
* M.Sc. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with Chemical/Combustion/Thermodynamic background
* Know-how related to (2-stroke) engine thermodynamics, combustion and turbocharging
* Experience with engine combustion system development
* Knowledge of one-dimensional simulation tools
* Experience in testing of internal combustion engines
* Handling a wide range of tasks in parallel
* Ability to communicate effectively with both internal & external customers
* Open for traveling (mainly Asia)
* >5 years of relevant experience desirable
* Good command of English language (written & oral), German appreciated
