Customer Engagement Excellence Manager
is responsible for overseeing the daily operational performance, structure, reporting, systems, and coordination of Expomobilia's commercial organization, including Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, and Sales Enablement.
The role is focused on building consistency, accountability, visibility, and operational discipline across the customer engagement organization.
This position acts as a central point of coordination, visibility, and accountability across the commercial organization ensuring that:
sales roadmaps are structured and tracked
pipeline visibility is maintained
resources are aligned appropriately
systems and reporting are accurate
team members are supported and held accountable
leadership receives meaningful operational insights and analysis
The position also plays a key role in helping ensure the organization remains focused on customer engagement, lead generation, pipeline development, and commercial growth priorities across all customer-facing functions.
The role also supports leadership in identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities across the commercial organization and contributes to the evolution of customer engagement and growth strategies as market conditions shift.
Your Responsibilities Commercial Operations & Team Coordination
Oversee daily operational coordination across Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, and Sales Enablement
Support team structure, organization, prioritization, and alignment
Help ensure workloads, opportunities, and priorities are balanced appropriately across the team
Participate in Go / No-Go meetings and support opportunity evaluation processes
Track progress against sales goals, roadmaps, and strategic priorities
Support leadership in driving accountability and follow-through
Commercial Performance & Insights
Monitor pipeline health, lead generation activity, and customer engagement efforts to help ensure commercial momentum and alignment with growth objectives
Maintain visibility across pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and opportunity tracking
Prepare recurring reporting and dashboards for leadership
Analyze team performance, activity levels, opportunity movement, and pipeline health
Provide insights and recommendations based on operational and commercial data
Monitor forecasting alignment and support revenue tracking initiatives
Support leadership in identifying areas requiring strategic adjustment, prioritization, or commercial focus
CRM, Systems & Process Management
Maintain and oversee Salesforce hygiene, structure, and reporting accuracy
Support proper CRM usage and compliance across the team
Work closely with Finance and Operations regarding tracking, forecasting, and reporting alignment
Monitor time tracking, IFS usage, and operational consistency where relevant to commercial activities
Identify process gaps and implement operational improvements
Strategic Growth & Commercial Insight
Monitor commercial trends, pipeline movement, and market activity to help identify areas for strategic focus or adjustment
Support Managing Director and leadership team with reporting, analysis, and recommendations tied to growth initiatives
Identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities across sectors, accounts, and commercial activities
Support cross-functional growth initiatives across Expomobilia, Art Basel Center, and intercompany collaboration efforts where relevant
Help ensure commercial efforts remain aligned with evolving business priorities and market conditions
Attend industry events and networking to promote expomobilia in the market/eu region
Help ensure alignment between Business Development, Marketing, and Sales Enablement efforts
Coordinate commercial calendars, campaigns, event participation, and sales support activities
Support development and consistency of sales tools, templates, and reporting standards
Ensure information flows efficiently between teams and leadership
Provide day-to-day leadership, structure, and accountability across the customer engagement organization
Support development and coaching of team members across Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, and Sales Enablement
Help establish performance expectations, sales rhythm, and operational discipline across the team
Partner with Managing Director on organizational planning, resource alignment, and performance discussions
Foster collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing across the commercial organization
Reinforce a customer-focused, performance-driven culture centered around relationship development, pipeline growth, and commercial accountability
Your Profile
7 + years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, business development, account management, marketing operations, or related functions
Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional commercial organizations
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and customer engagement
Extensive experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
Excellent organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in exhibitions, experiential marketing, events, live communication, or related industries is highly desirable
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Business-fluent English is required
