* Planning, organizing, and coordinating events, meetings, conferences, and social functions from initial enquiry through to execution
* Leading, supervising, and coordinating a team of 2 employees within the Events department
* Understanding client requirements and developing tailored event concepts and solutions
* Preparing proposals, quotations, contracts, function sheets, and all related event documentation
* Managing and overseeing all operational aspects of events to ensure smooth execution and exceptional guest experience
* Anticipating and resolving operational challenges or last-minute issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner
* Conducting final event checks to ensure all setups, services, and standards are met prior to event commencement
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and third parties through clear and professional communication
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and during the event itself
* Collaborating closely with internal departments to ensure effective coordination and successful event delivery
* Monitoring event performance, guest feedback, and operational results, and preparing post-event reports when required
* Supporting the continuous development and improvement of the Events department through proactive ideas and initiatives
* Additional responsibilities and tasks may be assigned at any time according to the operational needs of the business and the hotel.

* Previous 5 years of experience in events ideally in the luxury 5 star hotel industry with relevant background
* Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
* Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
* Fluent in German & English is a must
* Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
