Global Mission
In the Photolithography & Metrology Maintenance section within the IC Frontend Operations, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stable, predictable, and improving performance of the equipment, while adhering to time, resource, and cost boundaries.
Responsibilities:
1. Enhance preventive, predictive, and curative maintenance of equipment concerning safety, on-time PM, efficiency, costs, MTBF, and MTTR.
2. Analyze equipment performance regularly using PDCA methodology (RCA, Pareto, Actions) and identify key characteristics in collaboration with the Process Team.
3. Oversee 8D reports and task forces involving all stakeholders.
4. Define and mitigate risks through equipment FMEA.
5. Support technicians in maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification for production.
6. Develop skills through training to increase knowledge sustainably.
7. Maintain and update documentation related to procedures, checklists, standards, norms, and supplier information within the Quality System.
8. Ensure clear and structured communication within the section and maintenance department.
9. Proactively engage with suppliers by tracking actions and conducting regular interviews to ensure continuous support and efficient interventions.
10. Track and plan spare parts and service contract costs.
11. Provide technical input on new equipment acquisitions and manage their integration and obsolescence.
12. Conduct technological watch through documentation and exhibitions to improve maintenance efficiency and manufacturing performance.
