If you are a change and programme leader who knows how to move people, build momentum, and make complex strategy land with clarity and conviction, this role was built for you. /ph3About the Role /h3pAs Group Underwriting Office Head, you are the operational and strategic anchor behind Swiss Re's Group Underwriting function, reporting directly to the Group Chief Underwriting Officer (GCUO) and serving as a member of the Underwriting Leadership Team. You will ensure effective leadership execution, coordination, and delivery across priorities. You lead with presence, build trust at senior levels quickly, and take pride in developing the people around you. /ph3We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements: /h3ullibSignificant experience in change management, programme leadership, and transformation roles /b ideally within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services /lilibDemonstrated ability to activate and align senior stakeholders /b, with a track record of moving complex organisations through change /lilibProven experience developing board-level and executive committee materials /b, with exceptional ability to craft and deliver strategic narratives that land with impact /lilibStrong people leadership experience /b, including coaching and developing teams to communicate and perform at a senior level /lilibDeep understanding of underwriting business dynamics /b /li /ulh3These are additional nice to haves: /h3ulliExperience in a Chief of Staff, DOO, or equivalent leadership office role at Group or C-suite level /liliFamiliarity with reinsurance business models, underwriting cycles, and portfolio management /li /ulpFor Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 160,000 CHF and 240,000 CHF for a full-time role. /ppThe specific salary offered considers: /pulliThe requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role /liliThe applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience /li /ulpIn the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
