PeopleSoft Tester
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented PeopleSoft Tester to support quality assurance efforts for enterprise PeopleSoft applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts, with a strong emphasis on automation using the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF). The ideal candidate will ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple modules and environments.
Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for PeopleSoft applications
* Utilize PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) to design and implement automated test cases
* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
* Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools
* Support test planning activities, including test strategy, test cases, and test data preparation
* Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
* Participate in Agile or Waterfall development cycles as required
* Provide clear and concise test documentation and status reporting
Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Required Skills
* Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft testing, including PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
* Experience developing automated test scripts and executing test cycles
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
* Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
* Ability to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios
Desired Skills
* Experience testing PeopleSoft HCM
* Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing
* Experience working in Agile environments
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Security Clearance
* U.S. Citizenship required
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
