Chemical Production Technician, you will play a key role in assembling, producing, and ensuring the quality of a new product used in the generation of ultra-pure water. This position is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with excellent public transport access (Tram 10) and free on-site parking. What is the role? As a Production Technician, you will be assigned flexibly to all the production entities in the new factory and will operate, prepare, troubleshoot and clean the plants on your own. Flexible and independent processing of production orders according to production schedule Cleaning, setting up, and operating machinery and equipment in line with manufacturing documentation and quality standards Handling water and chemicals, using mechanical tools, electromechanical systems, process analyzers, and automation controls Performing stock counts and inventory checks Identifying and reporting potential issues proactively Contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes Does this sound like you? A background in chemical production or a related technical field 3-5 years of experience in a production environment Strong technical understanding and practical experience such as installation on hydraulic facilities Analytical prowess to leverage data and available resources to resolve key issues that arise every single day in the workshop Accurate and reliable working style Self-initiative and creativity, flexible and able to work under pressure A good team-oriented working attitude with excellent communication skills.
